Job Summary

Khatam-ul-Nabieen Modern Curative Hospital is seeking a qualified female nurse to join its team in Kabul. The ideal candidate must hold at least a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from a recognized institution, with preference given to those with higher qualifications in the field. The role involves providing essential nursing care, administering medication, maintaining hygiene standards, and assisting with medical procedures. No prior work experience is required.

Job Responsibilities

Clinical Duties:

  • Administering medication and dressing wounds.
  • Recording patients' vital signs regularly in accordance with medical guidelines.
  • Collecting nursing observations before doctor consultations.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene for patients and their beds.
  • Participating in daily morning visits.
  • Performing procedures such as IV infusions for patients.
  • Preparing inpatients for surgeries.
  • Implementing infection prevention measures and maintaining other necessary standards within the ward.
  • Performing 24-hour shifts according to the departmental duty schedule.

Management Duties:

  • Developing monthly, quarterly, and annual work plans aligned with the department’s objectives.
  • Preparing reports (monthly, quarterly, annual, or as needed) to update the department leadership on activities and progress.
  • Carrying out additional duties assigned by authorized officials in line with organizational rules and objectives.
Job Requirements

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognized national or international institution is required. Preference will be given to candidates with a higher degree in the same field.

Work Experience:

Required Skills:

  • A. Proficiency in one of the official languages (Pashto or Dari) and basic communication skills in English (writing and speaking).
